Honouring the Summer Solstice with this song and prayer.
The first song ‘Light Of The Sun’ came to me last year during the Summer Solstice of 2025. I shared the song at an Elemental Song Gathering For Peace and Unity hosted by Vikki Henderson. A beautiful heart-centred group of women came together to sing songs for the fire, the water, the air and the earth.
Thank you, Vikki, Becky, Bianca, Maria, Suzy, and Emma who contributed to this track. They heard the song for the first time at the gathering and, after only a few renditions, I recorded their voices that same day and mixed the song the following week. Vikki was inspired to lead the song into a meditation which I published on Insight Timer last year. You can listen to the meditation weaving into the song from the following link.
Together We Pray
‘Together We Pray’* came through very strongly yesterday evening. A friend sent an invitation to gather for a collective prayer after hearing of some deeply tragic news. This prayer is for all of the pain and suffering especially for our children who carry the trauma from the last generations of our ancestors. As we enter this Summer Solstice I pray that we can all hold the light of love in our hearts to bring harmony on this earth.
*A simple phone recording yet I feel the intention and love captures the offering that I would like to share at this time.
