A couple of months ago after singing songs at a care home, a resident asked if I would put music to a psalm. After a few more synchronicities, psalm 23 was calling and I was moved to write a version of The Lord Is My Shepherd. Thank you to my wonderful friends Aime and Matt for time and space to record at Queen’s Road Studio with the help of Tiger and Princess. I also had enough time to record ‘Divine Mother’ which I wrote a few years ago when my own mother was in hospital. In-between recording I visited Star Reiki and friends which brought so much magic to the weekend. When I arrived home I put vocals to ‘My Life Is In Your Hands’ a song by my father, Paul Fry, who passed in 2016. I’ve been meaning to do this for years. It felt so good to bring harmonies to his song and sing with him in this way. After adding my vocals I wanted to complete the journey honouring both the Divine Feminine and Masculine and record my version of Om Namah Shivaya which I wrote last spring. I will be releasing the EP on Christmas Day xxx
