I’ve just emabarked on A Dragon's Guide to Business with Rachel Elnaugh-Love which I’m really enjoying so far. So many inspiring offerings and a really lovely engaging group of people.
Yesterday’s offering inspired me to create a Buddha inspired sketch which I’ve been thinking about for a while. As a self employed musician and artist it’s wonderful to have a structure with an inspirational guide along the way!
In Praise of Saints
When I was living in Bristol I made series of wood cuts ‘In Praise Of Saints’ after spending time at the hospital where my mum was taken to after a seizure. The hospital chapel was surrounded by many stained glass windows of saints and a peaceful haven to retreat to when I needed some headspace and sparked a creative project resulting in my woodblock prints being part of a group exhibition in Centre Space Gallery in Bristol.
The Flower In Your Heart
Since moving to Hampshire my journey has been unfolding in magical ways with my music and incredible opportunities continue to open up. I have been much more prolific with writing songs over the last few years and it will be lovely to immerse myself in the visual arts again at some point. As you know I recently launched my new album 'The Flower In Your Heart’ songs and mantras. I will be making a hand printed physical copy of the album at some point.
